There is no typical All Hallows sister: we are as diverse in gifts and personality as are the Saints under whose
patronage we try to live out the life to which God has called us. Central to the life of the Community is the daily
Eucharist, the Divine Office and time for private prayer, meditation and spiritual reading.

The desire ‘to serve Christ in one another and love as He loves us’ overflows into the active life of the Community;
into the welcome given to the many visitors to our three Guest Houses and our two Retreat and Conference Centres
where Sisters are involved in the ministries of hospitality, spiritual direction and retreat giving.

The Community also cares for those with other needs – the very young at our day nursery and the elderly at our
nursing/residential home. Our hospital is a special place for those needing to convalesce or having respite care,
for day care, those needing physiotherapy and also for those nearing the end of their earthly pilgrimage. There
is also a very loving concern and care for those who suffer from AIDS.

The ministry of hospitality and prayer continues to flourish at our house in Rouen Road, Norwich, with the work
and witness being shaped according to demands and resources.
