The Sisters combine the life of prayer with service to others in their evangelistic and pastoral outreach and by maintaining their houses as centres of prayer where they can be available to others. They run a small guest house in Derby, and are able to take one or two guests in the house at Keswick. In other houses, and from the Convent in Derby, the Sisters are involved in parish work, prison visiting, retreat-giving and work among some who are disabled, and those who come for counselling.
The members of the Fellowship of the Holy Name are an extension of its life and witness in the world.
