The monks follow the Rule with its balance of prayer, work and study, supported by the vows of stability, conversion
of life and obedience. A wide ministry of hospitality is offered, and visitors are welcome at the daily Mass and
Divine Office. The purpose built monastery is built around two cloister garths; the Abbey Church dates from the
beginning of the twentieth century. Set in extensive grounds, with contrast between areas that are cultivated
and others that are a haven for wildlife, the Abbey is situated about four miles from Alton.
