We believe we are called to be alongside the homeless and unemployed, the sick, the dying, the bereaved, the old and lonely. The community has the oversight of St John's Home, a residential home for elderly people. It has pioneered Helen and Douglas House, offering respite and end-of-life care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions and support for their families, and the Porch Steppin’ Stone Centre, a day centre for homeless and vulnerably-housed people, which provides support and opportunity for change. These are both independent charities associated with All Saints. Hospitality is central to our life and we offer a warm welcome to guests and visitors for retreat and refreshment. Ordained ministry, spiritual direction and interfaith relations are some of the ways we live out our calling.

At the centre of this activity, and undergirding it, is the daily round of celebrating the liturgy together, with time to set aside for prayer, reading, and waiting upon God. We also give time for one another, respecting and cherishing each other. It is only in being with God and with one another, amidst all our activity, that we come to know the true purpose of our lives.
